Hope you are all well, and easing into the winter !! Our fields are doing so well this year, thanks to the ditches Richard has dug all the way round each field in past years.
We had an Iridoligist to see some of our horses this month. "What is an iridoligist?" I hear you say, well:
"Iridology (also known as iridodiagnosis or iridiagnosis) is an alternative medicine technique whose proponents claim that patterns, colors, and other characteristics of the iris can be examined to determine information about a patient's systemic health. Practitioners match their observations to iris charts, which divide the iris into zones that correspond to specific parts of the human body. Iridologists see the eyes as "windows" into the body's state of health.
Iridologists believe they can use the charts to distinguish between healthy systems and organs in the body and those that are overactive, inflamed, or distressed. Iridologists believe this information demonstrates a patient's susceptibility towards certain illnesses, reflects past medical problems, or predicts later health problems" (stolen from wiki)
I was amazed at the things she told me about both mine, and my clients horses. She was absolutely spot on, and has given me some fantastic feeding advice along with herbs that are suited to my horse. I am organising a clinic with her if any one is interested in attending, either with your horse or to watch, clients only!
Teaching has been very busy, I am now able to visit yards to teach, as well as continuing to run my clinics which are very much in demand. My prices range from £20 - £30 to travel, depending on days, number of clients etc. Call me for more info.
The yard is a fab place to be at the moment, all the horses are going well and the owners are such a great bunch. We have one space available from the 1st Jan, due to a very longstanding client moving out of the area.(she higly recommends the yard)
See you all soon
